Of Dreadlocks & "RASTA"
As some of you must have noticed that i've not posted anything new for a couple of days, or maybe a week

Been "missing in action" for a little while aka was on holiday in Thailand.. will not be specific of which city for obvious reasons lol, but some of you know which city that i headed to Was there only for a short 4 days holiday, but it was fantastic.

Anyway, i almost cancelled the trip which was from Sunday, 15 August till Wednesday, 18 August, as i was still badly coughing. But the hosts up north said, no worries, cause i'll be walking into a home that is full of coughs too, so, just bring my meds with me as usual

Woke up early on 15 August 2007 like 5 o'clock . Arrived in Thailand and was picked up by my host Was hungry, so, the wifey made for me roast chicken with mashed potatoes.. yummy hehehehe

Then that evening, friends of the host (a brit girl and a thai Boy) came to the house and we had dinner together. Met Boy last year too when i was up for a visit, but it seems he has moved his pub to a better place with a live band. I dreaded going to his pub, as a fight went on last year, as the kickboxer friend of his was upset that the farangs were paying attention to me, and i wasn't interested in him!!!

Anyway, went off to bed early and was just so tired. So, has any of you ever slept on a WATER BED???? I have!!!! Damn nice and very heavenly

The next day .. woke up late.. and had a relaxing afternoon. My colleague called me up from KL knowing full well that am paying double the costs of calls!! She was just talking shop.. LOL

Then my hosts took me out for dinner, and did a little shopping. As am not much of a shopper, i only bought little trinklets for my colleagues

Then went to Boy's place for pubbing. RASTA - nicely decorated, with Bob Marley's look alike paintings. Was told that the paintings were painted by the owner himself who is actually an interior decorator. The place was much better than his previous place. Reminded me so much of our happening place in Bangsar And the jazz band was good, a mix of farangs and thais... the lead guitarist was damn good too. Then the reggae band came in, and they were good too. Stayed there till 3am that night, and managed to talk to my brit gf who was staying upstairs at the rooms provided upstairs of the pub. They're planning to turn it into a place where budget tourists could stay. Great decor as well. I love the place. Went home at 3am, but was told the party only stopped at 6am.

Woke up late on Tuesday And was all so excited to go back to the pub that night hehehe Went back that night and joined the thai boys and sat down with them and talk shop. Came home at 2am as i have a flight to take the next morning..

All in all, it was a good holiday.. quiet but yet am busy<b> clubbing.. </font></b>it was fantastic. I promised them that i'll come back next year again. So, any of you want to come along with me and test that WATER BED together with me? hehehehe
