Eye Update....

Eye Update.... I went to the eye doctor the other day. It appears that I have a scratch on my cornea. He seemed rather surprised that it hadn't healed yet when I told him when it started hurting. He said is should have already healed and it had been going on for 5 days. Now 6. He prescribed me some eye drops I am supposed to put them in 4 times a day, but I haven't. I have been putting them in about every 2-3 hours because my eye starts hurting me, I kind of get dizzy, so I figure what the heck....I'm going to make it feel better. I tried to get him to give me his bottle of<b> numbing </font></b>eye drops. He didn't go for it though. Ya know those yellow drops they put in your eyes to see into them better....they numb ya too! I guess we don't really realize it because our eye really isn't hurting, but when it does you can tell! |

Please heal up quick. Be glad you did not have what I did, a scratch on the scalara(the white portion of your eye) that was deep enough to cover both my eyes for 8 weeks and I was in the Navy then and had to be led around until I healed. They were afraid I would damage the optic nerve of the eye not damaged, trying to compensate for the damaged one. I was in "A" school at the time. The longest 8 weeks of my life.
