A Breathtaking New Day

A Breathtaking New Day  I went out with friends last night. Got asked to do my friends makeup for her wedding as well as sing for their wedding, i was stoked to say the least, happy, & honored to do what ever i can for them for their special day. Around 2 am i left my friends to head into town & meet up with my & some other friends. We<b> partied </font></b>till 6am this morning. On the way home the sunrise just took my breath away. It cast a warm glow all over my skin. It was like you were taking in it's beauty with your eyes, while wearing it all over your skin absorbing it's glory in. I had my camera with me, the cab driver was so cool he stopped 4 or 5 times on the trip home to let me take photos, i think my enthusiasm rubbed off on him because he had a smile a mile wide each time he stopped to let me get a snap shot of this stunning morning sky of fire. When i got home I stayed up until the day had well and truly come in. I watched this sunrise from it's beginning till all the colours faded from fire like oranges & pinks, to many hues of the most beautiful blues. It was the most stunning morning. One of those mornings that make you feel blessed to be alive. One of those mornings that took your mind to the most beautiful places. One of those mornings where you soak up all that beautiful. One of those mornings you just ADORE. I hope you all had a wonderful morning, i know i did! |

I had the opposite morning, a sleep in, but it was just what I needed. After that, I went to the farmers' market and got blood orange juice, lots of goodies for Christmas pressies, fresh apricots, fresh tomatoes, and there so much more that I wanted to get, but I had to be restrained! AND THE WINNER IS ~~~~ [post 2692868]

I think i might do just that tomorrow morning Taste Hun, sounds like a fine plan to me. My car is finally up & running, it's been forever since i've been to the fruit n veggie markets on the weekend & i love going, besides the fact it's 10 times cheaper then in the shops. But prey, do tell whom it was that did the restraining,  sounds very interesting Hun!?   Kissu  Shazzi

That is a beautiful pic... in a few minutes I'll be watching the sun rise over downtown cleveland... ~jeff it was truly spectacular, sadly you can't feel the glow in a photo. I hope you enjoy your sunrise Hun, for me, there is just something magical about the sky, it doesn't matter where i'm viewing it from, it has a peace in it, almost like the peace i get watching the ocean or staring into an open fire. WOW was exactly my reaction Doey Darl.... I haven't seen a sunrise that intense since i can't remember..... I'm so glad we went out that night & that i had my camera to capture it..... But the photo does NOTHING to really show how spectacular it was..... WOW Kissu Shazzi
