Question for Bloggers
Question for Bloggers Bloggers If you are going to meet up with someone from AF F do you want them to read your blog before meeting, or least show interest in it? |
||||
|
i would think that they would have read it if they are contacting you. just to get some insight into who they really are

hey... good topic.... I like to read other's blogs... helps to see how interesting they might be... but it seems most folks don't read the blogs and perhaps are only looking at the visual things... which is ok... I like it when folks look at my blog and make comments.... regardless of what they think....

I'd have to say it would be nice if they did, however, most never do. I'm lucky if I can get them to read my profile and follow it.

I don't mind. I wouldn't point them to my blog specifically for them to read it prior to meeting up. I'm not sure it is something I'd even mention during a chat that I have a blog. But it is there for them to read if they think if helps them find out more about me.

I guess it depends. If the person liked what I write and was into poetry. Otherwise it is not a must to read in order to meet me. I like Superbjversion's idea of blocking them after you meet them and are seeing each other. LOL I vent my feelings too. One guy told me he would rather I not write about him. Ha! Well buddy you deserved some venting on my part. So he was blocked. Independently Romantic Sounds Better Than Lonely

It would depend on how much time I would be investing on my blog, obviously Cheers - P

Most just look at the pics.

I did meet someone from here, but it was before I started any of my blogs. I only have five on there currently,; I respond more to other's than I write my own. It doesn't really matter to me. I type/write the same way that I talk in person... a blessing, and a curse some times. The differences are the facial and hand gestures, vocal emphasis and influx, really. "Be who you are and say what you feel. Those who matter won't mind, and those who mind won't matter." ~ Dr. Seuss.

If someone contacts me, I encourage them to read my blog. It can be a great conversation starter.

thanks for sharing this post. I'd just like women to read and comment on my blog posts and profile. We can take it from there, nice and easy. reminded me of this... Alexz Johnson - "Reading me like a book" I'm up for the changes, oh This feeling's contagious How do you see right through me? You're keeping my heartbeat moving But you're reading me like, reading me like Reading me like a book And the more I try to hide it The more you see inside it And you're reading me like, reading me like Reading me like a book... It would not matter either way. My blogs are mostly places or events I have been too. The problem would be meeting someone from here. I have not seen too many from this area with the same interest's. So nice to be insane; no one asks you to explain.

it is all the same... they can read it before we meet or they can be in it after we meet... but do you really think they will have a better understanding of who you are now based on what was on your mind then? there is a world of difference between insanity and stupidity

my blog is more for me so I would be surprised if anyone read it. as it is, most don't even read the profiles. either way it isn't a deal breaker.

I would rather they NOT read my blog if we're going to meet. All my HNW pictures could have them focusing on the physical and not the personality. But it's not crucial one way or another. After we meet, is a different matter. Then I block them from my blog … just in case I need to blog vent about them later. Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

not really. my blog is just a space to unload my mind..like a diary. people can read or not read it.
| |||
|
No, not for me, most people are on mobile and cant even access my blog easily.
| |||
|
My profile mentions and has a link to my blog. Reading it is not a requirement. I've had a few read and at least one has interacted. But that same one took something I wrote as having something to do with her - it wasn't. Eventually she essentially said 'my panties were in a wad'. When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.
