defining size....

Small/Petite - Up to size 6
Average - size 6 up to 10
Ample - size 10 up to 14
A Little Extra Padding - size 14 up to 18
Large - size 18 and above.

a man put this in his blog for defining what he feels the Adult Dating zone size categories should be.

i put myself as average on here but i don't agree with his size chart and here is why. i am 5 foot tall and 150 lbs although most men to look at me guess 120 but i never tell anyone that hasn't met me my weight because then most people assume with my height i am ample. i can fit out a 17* 12 inch door. no joke. i dare most men to try doing that...lol. i wear size 14 pants but because i need the room for my hips and butt. i have a little waist and if i don't wear hip huggers the pants bag at the waist. if i didn't have boobs...lol i could wear a size 6 shirt but what fun would that be.

i don't think curvy is ample or a little extra padding i think curvy is how woman are supposed to be built. i also think petite is a misnomer because not only can petite be about your width it can also be about your height.

as for 14 being the average size several things have happened especially in this country. obesity is up so the average size of people in this country is up. it isn't the american media's false advertising it just is a fact. and also clothing manufacterer have played with sizes. a size 6 is now made roomier then a size 6 used to be to play to the customers vanity and get them to buy more clothes. so clothing sizes are not an accurate judge of peoples size...

i think the public at large have unreasonable expectations for what people should look like. i also think that if you post recent accurate photos that your category shouldn't matter.

and to people that actually care about you (or really drunks people...lol) for the most part your size won't matter anyway...

Accurate photos are better than fretting over descriptors. Besides if someone won't post or send an accurate photo, then I start to wonder if they'll show up for a date as well.

I'd be more interested in how you know you fit through a 17x12 dog door, that has to be a fun story.
