Spring Fever

Photo taken 4/11/11..

I am doing fine, I collect many different things. Have been collecting one thing or another for my entire life. I buy and sell coins online constantly to float that habit of acquisition. Int'l ones from 1700 - 2000.. I am rather an expert.... funny, looking at my erotic side, I do not imagine people would ever guess I am a totally dorky, square, coin collector. I cause a welcome stir at coin shows, and my local favored coin shop - an otherwise fairly mundane culture... The guys are generally so curious about me, but terrified at the same time. Typical. I love thrift shops, discount retailers, online auctions... treasure and bargain hunting is my hobby... out of sentiment and reverence for the past. To me not much is made well at all today...I needed a slotted serving spoon, the junk they sell new and overpriced... I found a beautiful one, a solid piece of crafted, artfully shaped and polished steel from Poland, likely about 30 years old, for $2 at the Goodwill...that's what I'm talking about!! The global economies manufacture a whole mess of jive crap, junk. Young people seem to just not know any better... it is interesting the conditioning of a market.. to pay more and expect less. Well crazy me, I don't play that way.

Been collecting these naughty vintage lingerie pieces for the past year. Funny, I know guys have bought these for their girls, I got this one on an online auction site still with the tags... it was made a couple decades ago...Open cupped and open crotch? Hell yeah, I'll wear that! I suppose that is part of people's fascination with girls like me, part of our charm to some, disdain from others. My preference is for high end lingerie Felina and Wacoal are my favorite labels. But trashy, and cheap, has it's place in a woman's lingerie collection.

Last winter on the same auction site purchased a 60 year old ivory satin and lace nightgown with the original department store tags 'brand new'... made by a long gone upscale manufacturer 'Van Raalte'... they don't make 'em like that anymore. They made ladies gloves, girdles, and all the lovely naughty unmentionables of the middle part of the last century. I secured the night gown at a price much less than buying anything similar in a store today, as if you could find anything that nice anywhere, at any price.

Another piece was a 1960's canary yellow 'gaymode' J.C. Penney's old label... a full slip, with ivory lace, it is not so luxuriant but it is great for hanging out and getting my 'Blanche' on... except with out the cocktail... I love the brand name as well, that alone worth the price of admission.

There have been other assorted pieces from the 70's by a 'Hollywood' label 'Glydons' that was ruled by then 'in' youthful designer Bob Mackie- Now he makes really gauche retired lady whacky sweatshirts and crap... I have gotten a few vintage pieces that look like something a girl may have seduced a young Mick Jagger in. Also a lovely flowing pink nightgown that looks like something a rich lady may have worn on an episode of the Rockford Files... 'Glydons', has a special place in my heart. My first timid little closeted transvestite purchase of a garter belt and panties was from that, then, almost dead label... when I was about 19... God, what I went through to get here, just trying to be myself. With all the insanity in the world, I can only hope it is easier for young transsexual girls coming up.

I have gotten some other trashy fun things for my erotic wardrobe... the<b> open crotch </font></b>p.v.c. teddy accented with little silver chains... had to be cheap... strange having this fabulous selection of every type of clothing for every occasion in my new life. But so very much appreciated. I've rarely paid full price.

It has been a long bumpy road, but I have really loved reaching my destination. Finally there.

Thanks guys... I'd caution you 'jkstrone'... I am feminine in many ways... I love being a girl... but I am very self assured, happily independent in my maturity... I appreciate assertive masculinity in my sexual persona, but dominating me would be like trying to control a swarm of bees.
