I Think Spring has Sprung Again

Lazy...that describes me today. The weather is slowly turning to fall, the days are no longer hot but rather a pleasant 80 degrees. It's the kind of weather where you would really rather be outside finding some sort of mischief to get into than inside doing work.

I can't wait for fall. Give me cooler temps any day. Fall brings with it so many things. Football, hunting seasons, beautiful trees, fall fun such as Halloween and Thanksgiving. It is definitely my favorite time of year.

The weather today is almost springlike more than fall-like, but it definitely is a hint of things to come. The morning was cool and steam rose off every body of water and settled into every nook and cranny of the landscape as fog. I watched as a couple of hot-air<b> balloons </font></b>drifted slowly across the landscape enjoying the morning's silence.

The afternoon promises to be warm and sunny with light, cool breezes. This weather is too nice to be working. It's that simple. So, I think I shall spend my afternoon finding some mischief to get into. Maybe I'll enjoy a pleasant lunch on the patio of some restaurant and imbibe in an adult beverage or two. Who knows, maybe I will just stay there the rest of the day. It beats going home to the honey-do list.

 I know this great little cafe where they serve frozen yogurt...it's a good place to have lunch and avoid work...

(Sounds like a beautiful morning, NSDK...I can almost smell the change in the air...fall has that certain smell about it, doesn't i??)

Gellato is so much better than frozen yogurt. But I would take the yogurt in a pinch. There is a different smell to the air. Something about that north wind verse a south wind. Then again, maybe it's just the dog food plant.

 I am a Fall fan too! Nothin' makes me happier than turning on a football game, opening the windows and napping on the couch to the sounds of fall... cool breeze blowin' in the windows... and I'm a complete Halloween nerd!!

I was actually thinking of going ahead and getting the Christmas decorations out. Seems I'm home so little that this way I would actually get them up and enjoy them before it would be time to take them down. But, I can't wait for our first really cool day.

 Ack its time to rake leaves already?

I love Autumn. I love throwing on a cozy sweater over my shorts. I love that we have less bugs. I love that I will no longer have to vacuum my house and pool. Fall is the perfect season to take long bike rides and go for challenging hikes.

I think its best on the EAST Coast. We have such a large leaf color spectrum. You should consider taking a trip.

What is it about fall that causes one to stop vacuuming their house? I still have to vacuum mine. And what makes you think the east coast has a better Fall? I think ours are just fine.
