Alone....

Alone and scared,is anybody there ?
She cries in the night,doesnt anybody care ?
Left all alone,the beatings the she must face
Why,to him,is she such a "disgrace" ?
Numbing the hurt,behind searing pain she must hide
No one knows whats she feels like inside
This morning she woke...like any other day
Only shes scared....too frightened to say
About the beatings she'll face,love taken away
Was it something she said,something she did
It has to be her "fault" for the position she's in
Where is this "God" - he's supposed to care
She looks around but can't find him anywhere
She feels dirty,like rubbish, like someone who's bad
What can she say...they'll think she is mad
She knows it is coming...the first savage whack
The first drops of blood as she crashes on her back
She has nowhere to go...nowhere else to stay
Except alone...for yet another day

Stand up speak out against violence,cruelty and abuse against Women and .....

Thanks for those kind words Tonto - its a topic I feel strongly about and have blogged about a number of times....never does any harm to highlight it and its effects.....

And as for calling it as it is....thats the only way I know.....shame others dont share the same viewpoint as you....they seem to think of that as a "crime"

Thanks for dropping by as always Curvy....if you look at my blogs you'll notice that hatred of any sort of violence and abuse against Children and women is a topic I feel strongly about and have blogged about it on a number of occasions...its disgusts me
