What a blessing music is...

What a blessing music is... I forget sometimes how important music is in my life. When I don't listen then I get down and tend to loose my path. At the moment I'm listening to Live. I still feel that their best album is "birds of prey". Suppose I'm biased as it's the first album and live concert that I heard and went too. Their lastest "black mountain" is such a fantastic album. Exactly what I would expect from them. The song "the river" words are very good "oh baby let my loving heal your pain / bring your burning skin to the river once again / I bring you life" Yesterday "7 nations army" by White Stripes was playing on 5. All I need is to hear that opening bass line and I can feel my body wanting to move. It also makes me realise how much I miss going out<b> clubbing </font></b>to The Doors and Red Room. My music. Have such an eclectic range, that I've yet to meet the person who likes all of my music. A song that has been on my mind a lot lately is Elvis's "memories" and the line "memories, pressed between the pages of my mind / memories, sweetened through the ages just like wine" My music is my memories. Another group I enjoy is 3 Doors Down, managed to rip another album from a friend of mine, can't wait to listen to it. Kryptonite is on it, one of my fav's. My music is my life.... |

Absolutely, couldn't agree more! I feel the same away about music, it is my life, and I couldn't live w/o it. I tend to play music that fits my inner moods - sometimes industrial, sometimes light, always right.  Take care.

Well as you know Music & Me.... need i say anymore... I came across 3doors down a couple yrs. back when searching for a record by The Doors. Did you know there 1st 2 albums sold over 12millon & they played over 500 live sell out gigs at stadiums in the first few yrs. of there careers. I got just about everything by them, including about 15 video's. I like Kryptonite (Superman) The video of that is wicked.. & also Here Without You. I did a preview of them on my Blog a while ago, it's under my musical section.. A Smile A Day.. Helps You Work Rest & Play  [Never Too Old.. To Learn Something New   Life is like a bottle without a label?You never know what's in it! Life is full of many Beautiful People.. None more so than YOU.. MY FRIENDS!  Unlike a Porcupine... My Prick won't hurt!
