Once upon a time Once upon a time in a country known as Cyber Space, in a land of Internet, lived an exotic maiden of great beauty. Her devoted friends and ladies in waiting loved her dearly. Bestowed with many qualities, this dark and sultry princess gained much attention from the princes of the realm. Though her heart had known grief from a lost of love so young, she longed again for such love. Spirited and feisty in nature, this beauty decided to go on a quest for her true love. A modern maid of the time, her character was not to wait lamenting in a tower. So off on a sojourn she went. Accompanied with a sense of adventure as her only companion, she placed her feet on the road. In the next principality, resided a handsome prince of grand and generous attributes. A fine and strong man he too desired a love to call his own. Graced in the art of courtly love where he had made many a maid swoon, his heart ached for the “one”. His sense of longing too sent him on his crusade to conquer the pain of a heart still awaiting. Tall in stature, he mounted his silver steed and began his search. Traversing many obstacles along the paths, walking, galloping and cantering they sought. In thick woods, deep canyons, high mountains they journeyed. As they traveled the roads, an odd occurrence happened to gain their attention. Each noted on their mounts, the prints of another were driven into the trails to map one direction. Both the prince and princess graced with a keen mind grew curious of those prints. Finally following the clues they found themselves in a foreign kingdom known as Match. Tired and weary from the pace they rested for a fortnight at the Inn of Eros. Settling their horses in the stables, next to each other’s stalls, too preoccupied with the comfort of their animals, they exited in opposite ends of the building. The servants of the stable observed the genteel prettiness of the princess and the stride full purpose of the prince. Remarking on what a lovely couple they would make, the went about their business of the care of the horses. In rooms down the hall from one another, just briefly in passing did they acknowledge one another. Making their way to the tavern to replenish themselves for the next days arduous trek, they sat at tables directly across. Both lively conversationalists and versed in many subjects, each searched a room for someone to engage in a dialogue. Finally, as each surveyed the room for a companion, the spark. Yes the prince raised his eyes to see this breathtaking woman before him. The princess gaze was caught by the splendid elegance of the prince. So the conversation began. Each talking of their travels. All at once, the talk turned to the peculiar occurrence of their respective rides. They both had noticed that someone had proceeded them before on the travels to lead them to the land. Could it be? Yes it was! As the nights dinner continued so did the coincidences. Each had gone to the same balls, the same lavish banquets, the same blacksmith, and lastly neighboring principalities. Well reader you know the remainder of the story. Prince Robert and the Princess were wed. Privately back on the path in a little chapel. However the principalities now turned into a kingdom. All wanted to celebrate, so in the cathedral the formal blessing! The author of this tale, yes one of her ladies in waiting and maid of honor will promise to chronicle this fairy tale to share.
