Just a muse for those that enjoy a muse now and again. I was visiting Victoria and as usual I was down in the inner harbour area. Such a great place to do some people watching. I was sitting on a bench and two ladies probably in the age group of 55 to 65 came and sat on the same bench. As we were watching an older guy (obviously 65 plus) walked by with a younger lady (probably 30 plus) and I thought to myself how happy they looked as a couple. Holding hands and laughing as they past. I could not help but hear the lady sitting beside me express how disgusting she thought that was.

Now is it just me, or are there more ladies say in the 55 plus range that are being left by long term spouses? Perhaps my thinking is messed up, but why would someone feel that older guys or gals with younger partners would be disgusting?

I just don't get it!!! Your thoughts?

 Lot of truth to that for various reasons.. some because of the service, some others for other things.

 They may have jumped to the wrong conclusion... could have been parent and child reminiscing and laughing... either way, your thought that they had been left, may have been on the money. myself, I am not into younger by more that 8 or nine years, usually because there is too much of a social and intellectual gap, but more power to anyone who goes for younger..
