who really wants to meet

I chat often in several rooms, and it is not uncommon to hear people complain about not meeting others. For some reason, standing up someone is a common occurrence.

Another issue....distance. A chat lady just today mentioned that a gentleman didn't want to go more than 20 miles. Seriously??
Do you want someone to just drop from the sky, land face first into your lap, pleasure you, then disappear??

One needs to put a little effort into a REAL meeting, I would think.
Take a chance,,,,,ya never know what could become of it.

 I always set my distance for 60 miles.. hasnt had much like for "real" meetings..

 Well since I am retired the only limit I have as far as distance is the whole state of Florida. I have gone as far as Panama City on a few occasions and met with the same lady. We talked online and then the phone for over a month before I made the first trip and boy was it worth it. We are friends with benefits now. I have made other road trips up state but all have been after getting to know the lady through online and phone conversations. So sometime you just have to take a chance if you have the time .

 I would say as far as people standing people up it is more of a issue of people feeling really confident online then getting a little scared as the day to meet approaches.

 I agree with you Howdy. While in chat at another site several years ago I found a female chatter who lived in 20 minutes away in Pace. We met that night, had a wonderful 3 hours together then came back in the chat room leaving the other chatters guessing if we had actually met. That one unplanned meeting turned into many meetings for the next two years.

and had many wonder if a chat bud is more that just talk....
its none of their biz......and we can laugh about it
