Peekaboo!

There's not much I my mind to write about today, my allergies are starting to act up and allergy medicine turns my already spongy brain into mush.
So I'll share some of my eclipse photos from yesterday. I managed to sneak a few shots between downpours.
It was amazing to see, even if the view was mostly obstructed.

"Shall I tell you the secret of the true scholar? It is this: every man I meet is my master in some point, and in that I learn of him."
~Ralph Waldo Emerson

Those are really great images. I was content to watch the best part (total) live on TV.

Lol, I should have done that and took photos off the tv. I would have at least got to see the totality.

Nice - similar to what I saw in Plattsburg. Just think, you and I and CleavageFan could have had a blogger eclipse viewing, with a little bit of advance planning.

That would have been awesome. We'll have to start planning for 2024!

I drove for 3.5 hours to be in the path of totality at St Joe. - it rained. The drive back took 8 hours - see my upcoming post tentative entitled "The Great American Traffic Jam".

The Mrs and I were fifteen minutes south of you in Faucett. Sitting on a truck stop parking lot with about fifty or so other folks. We took side roads in and made it home about 6pm.
