So just what IS a Techno Sexual?

Description:
The everyday technosexual usually has a job in the tech industry. Either in IT, Engineering, Electronic Media, or similar. They require a job that pays at least moderately well because they have expensive tastes. Not only in gadgetry but personal style.

Personality:
Maybe the biggest delimiter between a metrosexual and a technosexual is their personalities and mannerisms. Technosexuals tend to be more "brainy" or "heady" than the average metro but at the same time endearing. Subsequently, their humor is more upper-brain and sarcastic. It is also geared more towards pop-culture references. It is a hybrid type of humor that kind of mirrors their personality. You might hear a quip referencing Star Trek but it will actually be alluding to the hideous outfit the woman standing behind him is wearing, i.e. "Queer-Eye, engage!"

Habits:
You can usually find a technosexual watching Project Runway in his living room on his HD Widescreen TV while simultaneously browsing the web on his laptop and texting a friend on his iPhone. All while wearing designer pajamas and drinking some sort of high-end beverage. Whether it be electrolyte-infused water, green tea made only in Tibet, or a $250 bottle of wine.

Another fond pastime is doing limitless amounts of research on whatever product he is planning on purchasing. Much like the average geek, price and lifespan of the product they buy is infinitely critical. A purchase that is outdated within a year is considered a huge failure and a blow to the psyche. A cutting-edge product at rock bottom price is the technosexuals ultimate solution.

Misconceptions:
A common misconception is that the technosexual is a term only used for straight men. It differs from the term metrosexual in that a technosexual can also be gay and/or bi-sexual. Whereas a metrosexual is classified as only to be straight or possibly bi-sexual.

Another misconception is that a technosexual has a sexual attraction to machinery1. A mainstream technosexual has at least occasional loving relationships with other people and are more interested in using their skills with technology to find that special someone. Internet dating, technology (or special interest)conventions, and a night out on the town to name a few.

Attaire:
Cartigan's, suit vests, slacks, Italian shoes, retro eye glasses, wrist watch with GPS, latest PDA/cell phone.

Appearence:
Obviously a technosexuals personal style is very important to him but there are a few things to look for.
Messy yet dressy haircut. In the same way the "mullet"2 was business in front and party in the back. The technosexual haircut can be manipulated to attend a meeting with the CEO or go<b> clubbing </font></b>in Hollywood's famous 30 mile zone.
