Good time
|
Good time I had a pretty good weekend. Pretty good for the most part. Of course Friday sucked major with all the hospital crap! Mini went to the dr for her camp physical so her dad had to take her. She was adamant that he would sit in the waiting room (she called me to fill out the forms via cell). Later when I got home I was a bit down. I mean that kinda news kinda hits you in the face! So was hurting (physically, mentally & emotionally) so me and my big comfy bed were getting close. My oldest called from GA just to chat. Nice to relax and chill. While talking I was getting texts from the bf. He had said earlier in the week that he thought maybe us not getting together on Fri. night would be good. That way he could have some time to himself, okie dokie! Well after hearing about my bad day...he wanted so badly to comfort me. He is very big on comfort....  And he talked me into coming over and letting him take care of me...that and he promised chocolate!  So after oldest got off phone I grabbed my overnight bag and headed his way. He held me, hugged me and loved on me. Then he sat me down on his couch...put my feet up...and brought me a plate of choc chip cookies (right out of the oven) and a cup of milk. Saturday...he bit the bullet and we went to purchase his new infrared grill & patio furniture! This was an all day adventure. We were in search for a new steering wheel cover for his car (leather is hard to find!!!!!), the grill, patio furniture and the rental truck from Home Depot. Along the way we stopped off at Target and I got some note cards that I wrote notes to mini me to put into her suitcase so that she had a message from me everyday this week while she is away at camp. Lunch then we were ready to rock!!!! Got the grill, furniture and truck. Got it unloaded into his garage, took truck back....now it was time to buy his dad a Father's day card & gift card from the mall. Then a quick stop at the local Wally World to pick up some grilling equipment. Final stop at the local healthy grocery store he frequents for some fresh steak & potatos....homeward bound!!!! Got the food put away, and got started on putting together his furniture. It was fun. All done...and he was ready to grill! He made me my first meal of steak and roasted potatoes (potatos in a packet on the grill) other than toast & bacon! Sunday was another day of fun. We had to stop off at church to say good-bye to mini me (she wanted to say good-bye to him!). My ex-mil introduced herself to him (I was trying to figure out the best way...). Then a quick stop at a Wally World down by where he grew up and onward to his parents house....yes...he took me to meet his family. I think it is so cute that everyone he introduces me to is..."Hi, i'd like to introduce you to "Baby" my girlfriend). I mean his parents, siblings, in-laws, nephews...neighbors...I love it! Had a great time with his family. Being around his mom made me miss my grandmother. Especially when as we were leaving she told me to stop by anytime...and went down into her cellar to get me a jar of homemade relish. I also left with a bag of tomatos from their garden! Wonderful drive home....when my sweetheart is smiling. When I asked him why? He replied...."Just happy you are in my life. And thinking of what it would be like in the future when our relationship continues to grow. What it would be like....step daughters." Have I mentioned that this guy has stolen my heart? He sends me a text...I smile. He calls me...I smile. We are together he opens my doors. He holds my hand....and he tells me he loves me.   |

It was very nice. I have to say amongst all the bad stuff happening he is a bright spot. And he is now planning his vacation time around me.....and my possible surgery.

I am happy. I have finally found someone who makes me feel special. He treats me like his princess...he takes it seriously. It's nice to know someone is out there who wants me just the way I am and sex isn't the reason.
