Who Knew?
Who knew shopping could be so fun!!!!



Tonight my K and I went shopping. He is looking to replace his mattress on his bed. At the moment he has what looks to be a king (two twin adjustable beds). And he is now looking to either get a king or queen mattress to replace.

So I met him at his house, and after a few kisses and a phone call from mini me we headed off to mattress shop.

We stopped at the first store and the salesman right away took over. Here lay down on this and we will "read" your body to tell you the best mattress. Of course K fills out the screen and it asks if he shares the bed...he put yes! I couldn't believe that!

So here we are laying on this bed...and everyone is walking by. Then it tells us we need a "red" mattress. Okie dokie artachokie! Lol...so off we go. The first one we look at, K loves....the salesman is checking to see if they have it in stock...I say "K, NO! You need to look around, do a little research...try a few mattress out before you decide."

Onward to the second store where I know I must have looked at beds with SOMEONE before . And we looked at mattress there. Laid on quite a few. And he kept trying to pull me into a spoon position...lol!

Then we decided on a late dinner at a local pasta place. Very nummy! On the way back to his place...we pulled into his work's parking lot and watched the local fireworks display. It was nice.

Now, must say as a side note...about his bed. It is not fun to be making out (laying sideways instead of up and down) and have your butt start going down the crack!!!!

 You need two energetic young ladies to jump from bed to bed to REALLY make the experience 'unique'

Not that I have a clue how to make that happen

 Different mattresses have different rhythms to them. You really need to test them thoroughly to see if them match your own rhythm.

Yes!!! Although it was kinda fun to lay down on beds in the middle of the store!

I dk...kinda looks like it now that you mentioned it! I did that (waterbed) for 20 years...my whole marriage.

I like a little more to my bed now!

We've been looking at beds for like 2 weekends. Tried alot of stores. Alot of beds.

Extra firm, firm, medium firm, medium soft, plush.....plush pillowtop, firm pillowtop....Posturpedic....foam, box springs, inner springs....I know way too much about mattresses! Sometimes I like being a dumb blonde!
