Let's Get Super Specific About Photos (Animal Policy Update Included)


A definitive list was needed, so here it is. This is the list of what you shouldn't upload on Adult Dating zone. Forget everything you've heard, reset your assumptions and use this post to refer to if you have any questions about what to upload.

Note: You wanted it, you got it. We will now allow animal photos in Albums, Get Local, MC Attachments, Bling, Blogs, Interest Group Photos/Icons.

Specific to Account Photos, Intro Videos and Webcams

Imagery will be denied if it meets the following reasons:

- Contains contact information
- Copyright protected
- Body waste, including blood
- Images of extreme violence
- Written content which is against written content guidelines
- Does not contain a person or part of a person
- Minors
- Altered image which distorts reality (blocking a members face is fine)
- Collages
- Celebrity/Public figures
- Person in image does not match advertised age
- Any Animals

Specific to Albums, Get Local, Message/Email Attachments, Bling, Blogs, Interest Group Photos/Icon

Imagery will be denied if it meets the following reasons:

- Minors
- Contains contact information
- Copyright protected
- Body waste including blood
- Images of extreme violence
- Written content which is against written content guidelines

NOTE: Animals are OK, if they fall into these areas - just no animals in profile pics, videos or webcams.

Is A*F*F allowing animal pics in the discussion thread posts or does this refer to just the one group pic that the head moderator can post on the main group page?

    Good point here though. We have over 300 customer service agents who have been told for years that they will have their hands chopped off if they allow an animal pic on the site. Now that we've changed the policy, there will be an adjustment period. Some animal pics might be taken down because some agent didn't get the word, or has a brain fart. Let me know, I'll meet with the managers and we'll get the agent on the right path. That is, if they still have hands.
You must have a few handless staffers already.
