Another day in paradise.... Well, it's hump day. Midway through the week from hell. And really, after all that shit, there's damn little discussion about the real issues and policies. Just mudslinging and high-schoolish bullshit. I'm SO over it... We have issues galore that need to be addressed but our so-called leaders want to do nothing but play politics and games. Don't even get me started on our wonderful fucking Congress. Ben Franklin was right when he wanted to have congress folks as part-timers only. Shit, all they do now is fleece us continuously and play politics. You take that crap out and they could get what's needed done in a couple of weeks. Instead we have professional Reps and Senators who keep coming back, year after year, term after term and doing what?? The vast majority of them are so removed from the normal, everyday American (or anybody for that matter) that they've actually become a kind of 'class' unto themselves now. This was NOT the way it was meant to be folks. Oops, just broke one of my cardinal rules... No politics here on Adult Dating zone... I honestly don't remember seeing any "soft ones". Whoever is elected for President, you take the top 3 issues they were really running on. At the end of the 4-year term, if they have not accomplished their goals, they are not able to run for a 2nd term and their pension is cut by at least 50% or shortened. We know what needs changed in this country and at this point, I don't care who is elected as long as those changes get made!!! I never thought I would say that, but I'm sure a lot of people would agree with me.
