For the Poets of AFF: An Anthology of Your Poetry. Please Send Me Some of Your Favorite Poems

When it comes to my heart and mind, I am always looking for a menage a trois: I want a relationship with a woman who will join me in a triangular affair with my love of the English language (and its poetry and literature) as our third partner.

What I've come to discover and love in the blog world of Adult Dating zone is the number of women who share my love of logos as well as eros, and who are as fascinated as I am by the reciprocity between verbal and sexual expression.

The erotic itself is a creation of language: Sex is not just sex, or biology, because we can talk about it, imagine it, tell stories about, write poems about it, and figure it in metaphors.

I've been collecting and posting erotic poems by a range of poets from all over the world and from ancient history through the present.

I'm thinking I should try to do the same with the poets of Adult Dating zone whose writings give me special pleasure and joy,
composing an anthology of their best poems in my opinion for posting in a blog.

When I have the time, I will do my own research and review in blogs to select out some of my favorite poems, but I also encourage you to submit your poems to this blog for inclusion in the anthology. I'm thinking that I would include up to at least 3 poems per author.

Let me also include now some words by Octavio Paz that will serve as the guiding principle for this anthology:

"The agent that provokes both the erotic act and the poetic act is imagination. Imagination turns sex into ceremony and rite, language into rhythm and metaphor. The poetic image is an embrace of opposite realities, and rhyme a copulation of sounds: poetry eroticizes language and the world because its operation is erotic to begin with."

You have written some wonderful poems in English. But feel free to submit poems in both English and Spanish. I'd love to include some of your Spanish language poems.
