The Pride Parade was almost...

too awesome for words. I haven't had this much parade fun since a drunken night on Colorado Blvd. the night before the Rose parade, and the party peeps and I actually left when the parade started (if you are near Pasadena when the Rose Bowl happens there is always a great party on the parade route the night before). So many wonderful, glorious, flamboyant, beautiful and proud people celebrating life love and the pursuit of happiness, not to mention human rights. The dykes on bikes, the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, the Rocky Horror Picture Show Float, the many Dancers shaking what they got like a Polaroid picture. Handsome Men and Handsome woman by the 1000's. Pretty men and pretty women every which way you looked. We cruised the area and the booths afterward where we entered fairy land where nudity is celebrated and encouraged and the girls (my 18 year old and her similarly aged pals) forgot to act jaded and sophisticated and gawked and got the giggles which suited them better than the oh so mature act. The naked men graced us with gentle smiles and went on about their hedonistic pleasures. Leather alley featured a sub getting flogged which caused some heat in this blogger and wide eyes from the young'uns (are they, yes they are really hitting him, look at how red his butt is!). There were toys I would have enjoyed getting a better look at under different circumstances, but i don't think my wanted to see mamma checking the sting of a<b> riding crop. </font></b>All in all a great and wonderful time was had by all and I can't wait till next year to attend again!
