Sounds like you had a good weekend, but have a lot to think about. I just surprised myself when I finished reading your post and was looking forward to seeing what happens next. Made me chuckle, and gave me a weird feeling.

Is all this really happening, or are you writing a work of fiction? I haven't paid too close attention to detail, but even if this is fiction, it's a good read, and seems you're getting better at writing. I'm not cutting on you, because I have a terrible hard time proof reading my own writing.

Well truth be told, I'm having some trouble sleeping lately (a lot to think about) and so it's helping me to have this blog as an outlet to remember and organize my thoughts. Somehow I have this notion that it's not going to turn out so well, and I don't want to forget these days.

I've always had a diary, I've been writing it for a couple hours a week since I was a teenager, with a couple years lapse when I was happily married and there was nothing troubling or exciting enough to record. My diary has a record of everyone I've dated or slept with and detailed descriptions of them for my memory, and sometimes photographs are stuck in there as well. So I think that over the years I've developed my diary craft-writing skills a little bit. But I can't read a book and think I would ever be able to compete with those guys, they're just too good at language and too poetic for me to consider myself in their ballpark.

So yes, it is really happening, unfortunately. Though I have taken the liberty of changing some names and other details so that it will be impossible to identify the real people involved, since I'm pretty sure they would positively kill me for putting all this junk on the internet. Every person's name starts with the original letter of their real name, and only my friend Evan is actually correctly named because I want people to really be able to find the guy named Evan in DC who is hung like a soda can. And I couldn't think of an E name that matched the person he is.
