Well it's been a long time since I felt like posting anything. So I figured I'd give an update to let my friends here know I'm still alive.

Tomorrow is the wife's birthday and as typical, I had my days all screwed up and thought it was today. No biggie though. She's off duty all weekend long so I get to mange the house for a while. Little man and I are doing fine. We have only gotten into it twice so far today. I tell you... I have forgotten what it was like to be only 9 years old. All the boy does is think of himself. I'm sure I was the same way back when I was his age but I can promise you we aren't raising him to be self centered. One way or another, he and I will have to find a way to work together or he won't live through his years!

Since mom is out with the girls for the night, little man and I are about to head out for dinner. Don't know where the car will take us yet but I think we may go to the mall and find something else for Mom for her birthday. She is already pleased with me. After only two years, I finally mounted the TV in the living room up on the wall. She has wanted it done since we bought it and I've always had one excuse or another not to do it but today I finally ran out of excuses and put it up. It really is NOT a one person job just so you know.

There is a lot more that has been going on but nothing I really care to talk about. I'm already depressed enough as it is. I've really been in a funk for a while now. Seems like my rear end has been falling off lately. I'm hoping that will change rather soon.

To finish off on a more positive note... We've had sex TWICE in one week and THREE times in two weeks now!!!! For us married guys, that's COOL!!!!

I also had the cables neatly hanging in front of the wall and even though it looked good, it wasn't perfect. So Mr. Anal Retentive, had to take it all down and redo the entire thing. Hey Honey... Nah. I just say no sometimes. I finally had the desire finally so the task got completed. It looks good too. I even took it down again and then reran the cables through the wall making it look even nicer.

Short lived but enjoyed it while it lasted. LOL

Kids sure do grow up fast. Little man has a few things to learn though if he expects to live through his teen years.
