Anyone else have this happen?

I let my Gold membership run out, I won't renew until the price is down what I am willing waste/, this site.

What is interesting is, and I am wondering if others find this be true. Each time I have let my gold lapse, I suddenly start getting messages in my inbox, I start getting more IM messages. I even get emails (in my home<b> email </font></b>box) about messages that are in my passion. inbox - even though I have<b> email </font></b>notifications turned off. What is unique about this is that I am getting more of these things. I can't read any messages in my inbox, I can't reply a IM unless I with points.

So why is it that after the gold runs out I get messages. I have had more messages in the last 2 months without gold, than I got in the previous 6- months, with gold. Most of the IM messages and emails are from people that I have never heard about because they are in other states or countries. Do the people working at passion. write these messages get buy points or a new gold membership?

Just a few random thoughts since today I have had 3 out of state IMs, and I have only been on this site today for an hour, maybe. one of which had a notice on my home page the moment I signed in. Meaning the home page opened with the notice there.
