Political Polling

I don't think I have ever been contacted by a political pollster before until yesterday....and then again today. It seems I got polled by my Republican Congressman and a potential Democratic Governor candidate. It's interesting how they try kind of try to shape your opinion by using terms like "it has been said by opponents (or supporters)...." and then they rattle off some mud-slinging or some rosy picture.

I guess it's getting harder for pollsters to find people with land lines to call.

 I certainly don't envy your election process especially this time around. Our last one was 78 days start to finish. The second longest in Canadian history. 78 days is to long.
Give them all 24 hours to type out what their plans are, give the voters 48 hours to read and review then 12 hours to vote.

It would be nice if our election cycles were much shorter but unfortunately it seems that they are only going to get longer.

 I just tell them I don't have the time right now and hang up. The poles are fixed and so should our politicians we would all be better off
