POLL FOR STRAIGHT AND BI MEN--COMPROMISING MASCULINITY?

One of my lovers told me that he loves being with me because I make him feel very manly and masculine.

i was bothered by that. I only like men who are masculine, aggressive, and dominant.

I get so annoyed when I hear and see of many women (particularly natural born straight women) asking guys to shave/wax/trim body hair, be overly-sensitive, and other things that to me, ask a guy to compromise his manliness.

Guys, do you think is there a pattern of women (of all types, etc) asking you to compromise your mascilinity?
Yes...and I don't like it.Im a man and i need to be able to be a masculine, aggressive guy.
No---I dont have that problem with women asking me to compromise my masculinity.
Other---Im going to comment below!

With all due respect (... and I mean that), the last thing our culture needs, in my opinion, is a re-entrenchment of gender norms that have taken so long to loosen from their stubborn, often violent moorings. Gender identities are fluid, and the very idea that they can be "compromised" suggests that they should be legislated and carefully watched. I've seen enough of that. And I'm not saying this in the name of some wishy-washy political correctness. If girls want a traditional idea of masculinity, there's worlds enough out there. Just don't be surprised when it comes with "other" gems of xenophobia, sexism, homophobia, and exclusionary behaviour ...

Some people, particularly MANY gay men, trans women, etc, have a penchant for masculine men. I suppose I should say the question is more directed at people who like men and seek a more masculine male partner, particularly when it comes to sex.

The question was really more meant to ask men who are masculine and embrace their masculinity (features, personality, etc) if they feel that all too often, they are asked to compromise that. In an ideal world, we would not be exclusionary, etc. But, this is not an ideal world.
