Workday attire

I may have missed something on workplace attire in my years, as I observed the following in my 's office today:

Man, early 20's in a starched white polo, collar turned up. Chartruse pants, cuffed above ankles. Flip flops and sunglasses round out the ensemble.

Man, mid-50's wearing white flannel shirt, white flannel pants and sandals.

Woman, early 20's, skintight leather dress, thight enough that her b-cups were spilling out. Fishnets and stilettos. Turns out she was an interview candidate.

Doesn't it depend on the field you're working in? I've always attributed it to that. It's similar in my office too. One guy in particular shows up in berms and flip flops everyday. I hate to admit it but on days that I'm not scheduled to travel out to meet any clients or vendors, I can be quite informal too And don't even get me started on the freelancers and interns
