do you belong to a community I mean aside from a chat community, where you live, your section of town.....or your small town growing up in a city of 80,000 people..i somehow found that sense of belonging somewhere, and giving a crap if people trashed the place i like the old, coal era buildings and my mothers 1890<b> victorian </font></b>home it wasn't long before i saw my mother look around and change the way things were. if a city worker did a crappy job he might hear about it. the grade school i attended decided to pave over the grass on the front and sides of the building rather than mow the grass on the slope. I mentioned it when i got home, just that it was so ugly. we had lived in the town less than a year, no idea who she contacted, but the paving was torn up and grass was planted that month. so i learned the power of a 5' 2'' woman we all live in a community. I think it's fun to know the people in mine, i like that the local town workers wave when they go by, and stop to look at whatever weird, woodworking project i have going on, comment and ask questions. i live in a community far from the city i grew up in, and i return several times a year now to work. Next week i will be rebuilding some garage doors in the alley i grew up in. i kissed my first girl in that alley, and all the neighbor played basketball and kick the can. so i get to make a positive change in a community i grew up in as well as see the work i did when i am home. one of the garages in that alley i put a roof on 22 years ago I know, because when i finished that roof, i went home and showered, laid down, and my wifes water broke. every place we go stays with us throughout life, so I do like being a member of a community  http://Adult Dating zone.com/blog/chef_rocket123 |
