Stupidity

Many are dumb, some are really stupid. Another dumb mistake is proving costly to a young 22 year old from China. He was joking with a supposed friend. As a prank he took a cell phone pic of the guy sitting on the toilet. The guy got pissed, and called the cops. In Arizona where this happened there is a new law against surreptitious photos of people peeing, etc. This act was not hidden!

Still, arrested, and offered a misdemeanor attempted hidden photography! Also fines of $10,000 and six months in jail!

I suggest he take it to the jury and explain he was just being a stupid ....

Could also get him deported and unable to get asylum...

So don't be stupid, especially in Arizona.

 The criminal laws of the state are different from the bars written into Federal law, so it gets very tricky. For example any sex crime, domestic violence, drug offense or theft or fraud can be a bar, unless it is interpreted to include something that is not a bar... Another strange distinction: soliciting sex for yourself as a prostitute is not a bar, but pimping for another is a bar... In short, behave or risk removal...
