Trump derangement syndrome Trump supporters are getting off on driving liberals nuts. There is even a name for this effect: Trump derangement syndrome! Who knew the President and his friends would revel in the idea of driving others crazy? All the other presidents in the past realized they should broaden their support after winning an election. Why? Because partisan fighting is bad for the country, hurts the economy, sows divisiveness which makes it harder to govern effectively. If Trump is so smart, as he claims, why was creating wedges and fighting with Democrats better than making deals that promoted prosperity? Trump is clearly deranged. As in bat shit crazy. Having a 40% approval rating and 60% disapproval rating was earned by Trump. His oath was to support the US Constitution. Instead he has acted like a wanna be king. We fought the Revolutionary War over such power mongering arrogance. Trump is the enemy of the people, not a free press which reports the actual news, which Trump slanders as "fake" because he does not like facts which show his lies, corruption and<b> illegal </font></b>behavior. Trump won the electoral college by less than 80,000 votes in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, from deluded rural and blue collar men who thought this bragard cared about the forgotten uneducated workers. Trump got an assist from the Russians, and Comey. In the Nov. midterms there will be a blue wave push back. Lets see how Trump handles a Democratic controlled House of Reps! Congress will start functioning as a balance and check the power grabbing of Trump. Expect more Trump derangement soon. |

For your elucidation- something like 89% of Republicans still support the president but... People have been quitting the Republican party in significant numbers. So... It was almost half of all voters that supported the president, which is actually 33% of all eligible voters. We had a 1/3 of our eligible voters NOT vote. The fact that self-identified Republicans numbers have dropped, that is actually closer to 29% of all voters still support the president. Of the 1/3 of eligible voters that didn't vote, very few (less than 1  support the president.If you take at the most optimistic number that support the president, it is much closer to 29% of the public.
