New Year resolutions
New Year resolutions Every year in January the gyms are more busy than usual. And every year by February they are back to normal! I read recently that weight-lifting as little as thirty minutes twice a week was shown to lead to a 50% reduction in heart attacks and strokes! Very easy and efficient way to improve health and extend life. Yet only about 10% of people exercise regularly. So if you want to live an extra ten years, and be healthy do these five things: 1. Don't smoke tobacco. 2. Eat less so you have a normal BMI. 3. Don't use illegal drugs or excessive<b> alcohol. </font></b>4. Exercise regularly. 5. Good nutrition, meaning less meat, more fruits, veggies and cereals. Common sense, yet how many use common sense? Not that many... |
