Profiles I've Viewed

So we all know that Adult Dating zone has been messing around with the "counts" of things in the left menu. They used to be new things, then they were a count of everything, and now they are back to new counts again. However, the numbers on my "Profiles I've Viewed" jumps around randomly from 5 to 41 to 12 to 26 to.... All when I've not viewed a profile at all. I go look at the list of profiles and there are people in there I don't recognize so I know I've never viewed their profile.

I've had a problem in the past that people have told me I've viewed their profile and I hadn't but it never showed up in my list of profiles. Now they are showing up as if I had actually viewed them. Pretty damned annoying actually as it takes away any usefulness of the people who have viewed your profile.

Oh well....maybe they need to make the site look busy but I can't imagine why. Seems like there are tons of people trafficking in here all the time.

 Most new members don't realize that just the act of passing over a persons profile pic with their cursor will make it look like you've viewed them. It took me a few to figure it out.. but after having more than a few people contact me regarding having viewed them I put 2 and 2 together. Ditto when it comes to showing if someone is logged on or not. I kept getting emails when I would sign on that were worded as if they sent them when they saw me logged in...trouble was I hadn't been on yet that day. So I started emailing them back and asking them...that's when I realized that if your profile garners enough attention to be "good for business" that the site will make it look like your online even when you aren't. Shady as hell but not much can be done about it.

 yes and it feeds the ego driven souls who are so taken with themselves that they cannot imagine anyone looking at their profile and not falling all over themselves to start a conversation ( and much more). "I saw you looking at my profile" "you have looked at my profile many times"...uh no dude, my cursor passed over your profile many times on my way to look at someone much less self involved...

 Yeah I've known that just mousing over someone will sometimes generate a profile view but it never used to show up in my list of profiles I've viewed. Just find it a totally useless "feature" other than maybe making some people feel good then bad that you are getting all these views then getting nothing from them
