Clouds Have Cleared

It took a storm
To find my form
Get me back here to write

I'm feeling stronger
And going longer
Down that path of light

My anger can creep
Back up for a peep
But now it's on the wane

Confusion and sorrow
No more my tomorrow
I like this easing of pain

And to my good friend DR
I thank you from my heart
You've listened from the start

As I sang my blues
You never uttered a clue
That it bothered you

And there was the time
I could not share my mind
I was in a scary bind

It made me grateful for your ear
And just having you near
You will always be dear

I've emptied my mind
And now I find
I'm feeling more kind

And as I recover
I hope you discover
How your friendship helped me keep it together
