Body Central, R.I.P. Hi Everyone! Hope everyone is well and ready to suffer the hangover from St Patrick's Day celebrations! Drink lots of water!!! Is it just me, or is anyone else missing one of the nicest ladies boutique, "Body Central" in their recent closure of 236 stores nationwide and letting go of 2600 employees? They closed their doors very suddenly in early February of this year. I miss them sorely!!! To the employees, my heart goes out to you. Closed with little or no warning! That's a terrible way to do people, but I won't cover that here. Best wishes to you all in your future endeavors, and my hopes are that you were able to get other jobs quickly, even if only temporarily until you found something more suitable. Back to Body Central!!! My understanding is that the company went or is going thru Bankruptcy. Sorry to hear that, but I'm in fashion mourning! This is serious!!! Body Central had a very nice line of clothes, good quality and for a very, very reasonable price. Their designs seasonally had something for every taste from relaxing, to outdoors to<b> clubbing </font></b>to evening attire, from mild to wild!!! The staff was excellent at presentation at every Body Central store I've shopped, and I've shopped them all from northern Illinois to southeastern Wisconsin. This is just my opinion, but I can't believe I was the only person who shopped there. I would love to hear some feed back from the girls and the gurls, and from any guys who have either wandered in to the store alone or were dragged in kicking and screaming by their girlfriend. I don't know if I should be saddened or excited by this next prospect, but now I'm not just shopping for new clothes for the new shoes that I am always buying, but I have to shop for a new Boutique as well! R.I.P., Body Central! I sooooo miss you already!!! I would also like to know if any out there knows, what will (or did) happen to all of their stock and merchandise. Was it purchased by anyone else? Will the merchandise be eventually sold and where? I hate to see all of that gorgeous clothing go to waste! Are the former owners planning to open another boutique down the road??? Inquiring minds want to know! We're in fashion mourning!!! Finally, I would once again shout out to all the wonderful retail sales staff that I had the pleasure of doing business with at Body Central. They were always very genuinely polite and helpful. To the owners who went Bankrupt. I read a little about you and you guys were doing so well! WHAT HAPPENED??? Your adoring customers and fan base want to know and we'd love to have you back!!!
