I am always confused. When at a wine tasting event, what do you do? This time of year , here in New Jersey the wine makers have open<b> houses </font></b>and tasting events. There are so many vintages and types. Do you swallow the sample offered, or do the classic "swishy" to get the essence of the wine and spit in the provided receptacle? I do need advice on this subject .
I just realized, that title may have conjured up other ideas about this post. Do you think I did that deliberately?. If you like, we can certainly discuss other Spit or Swallow venues if you like

On a more serious note. at a wine tasting, you take a little sip after you swirl the poured wine, and if you do not like the sip, you swallow and pour the remainder into the "dump container" and then rinse your glass and mouth with small amount of water( and swallow again LO

Normally I'd advise swallowing but with wine-tasting I advise spitting otherwise there'd be less chance of you being swallowed afterwards!

 Great pics. I was taught to swirl and spit when tasting wine. But I love a lady who swallows...oopps you said wine didn't you?

 I'm not going to be much help here .... the closest I get to wine is a bottle that says Welch's!
