What kind of pics do YOU like?? I was perusing the blog pages the other day and made a note to myself that people seem to like certain types of pictures of theirs over others, and that seems to manifest itself in both the pics they choose to post of themselves on their blog entries as well as their profile pics. What do I mean by that? Let's break it down. but first... something funny.  heh... I just love Calvin. Alright, back to business. From the both male and female profiles that I have perved, and believe me I have looked at a lot of profiles over the past year plus that I've been on this site, a lot of people (not ALL but a lot) post pics in what I would say are one of three categories. First are the dick or pussy pics. These people are open for business! I love it!! These are most definitely the a.f.f. bread and butter in terms of attracting new members. Personally, a pussy pic doesn't really do anything for me, mostly because I own a bunch of handheld mirrors and know mine intimately, but I do enjoy a good dick pic. I know a lot of women say they hate seeing pics of a guys penis but seriously, what's up with that? Now let's face it, dicks do look weird. As Elaine once said on Seinfeld, "I don't know how you guys walk around with those things." And granted, not all dick pics look good. Some are downright scary. Others are just, you know, meh. Others make me think "my goodness you're just going to hurt someone with that." And still others I put on my favorites list because I just love love love looking at them over and over. A really nice dick will make me wet as hell and horny as all get out. It can be a deal breaker too if I am thinking about meeting someone. But that's another blog I need to write someday...  . I'm sure pics of women's pussy's fall into similar categories - scary, meh, yikes, and wow. I don't have any of those on my own profile because frankly they are just really hard to take! The lighting has to be right, you have to be at the right angle, and sometimes you just can't hold your camera the right way and click the button to take the pic. Just sayin' Second are the general body pics, but with no glaring privates showing. Most people are semi-clothed, so either wearing underwear or something otherwise minimalist to provide some eye candy. Women are fortunate to have a lot of options here, which I find super fun. Lingerie, bra and panty sets, corsets, costumes, and every possible clothing option. Sometimes I write to people to say I loved their outfit and ask where did they get it because I want it too. LOL Guys on the other hand tend to do this clothing thing primarily from the waist down. Again, lots of underwear, but also lots of jeans and that's it, which I think can be a very sexy look. One pic I see a lot is the clever draping of a towel around front. Leaves LOTS to the imagination!!  And last but not least are who I call the "normal people" who post pics of themselves going about their day to day activities and doing the stuff they like to do... hanging out with friends, traveling, working, being fit and active, and just plain having a good 'ol time and being themselves. I'd say the majority of people that have pics like this also have face pics of themselves smiling. When I see someone smiling it makes me smile back  . These people look like they are content with life and know how to enjoy themselves.  Of course, I am completely generalizing with all of the above, I know that. I think it is absolutely fascinating how much people share about themselves on here. I really don't remember how I cam across a.f.f in the first place, but I sure am glad I did. So for today's question... What kind of picture poster are YOU??? And do you look for the same kind of pics that you have posted, or do you prefer another category? Until next time... it just so depends; for myself i would post some cropped face photos. the nude or cock selfies don't get posted but kept just in case there are any women who are interested in me physically. bum selfies are a nightmare if no digital camera or timer on mobile. as for female photos, thre are numerous poses and styles that seriously float my boat; be it lingerie or flesh shot or cropped enigmatic pose

I think clothed, using your imagination is the best way to go for a profile pic. Other pics can be exchanged later on after chatting, when more comfortable knowing one another better.

I like verity,I mean, it is advertisement right? So, if your putting your self on the block to be noticed, you might as well show the honest truth, but some have a little more of a wild streak then others, but bottom line is the verity is what makes it interesting, no two are the same unless they are identical twins, and i have not seen that on here, maybe my settings are not that broad.

If I'm looking at a picture to decide whether I think a woman is physically attractive, I start with a face picture, then general body pictures. I look at faces first because I find that great faces are more scarce than great bodies. My wife is one of those rare women with a really beautiful face, and a nice body too. When I'm just looking at pictures for a little visual simulation, a great face is nice, but I look at her body more. I (obviously) opted for the scantily-clad body shot. Many women will reject on sight any overtures from a guy whose profile picture is his cock. I don't mind showing off my cock, and there are other pictures of that in my profile, but I think the body shot is a better way to get attention. I can't put up a face shot (for privacy reasons). I don't like the close ups or giant cropped pics of private parts or tits, or penetration, or close ups of anything really (yes your eye or your tattoo too!) It's always difficult to get a good picture of pretty much anything, you need to take a lot just to get one good one...It's nice to see a little effort in profile pictures, a little creativity, a little filtering becasue it's OK to JUST post the good ones..... ........and jeeeeeesussss! at least pick up the dirty laundry off the floor by your mirror, the hundreds of weird bathroom products and medications off the sink or fuck please- move your kids toys out of the background. My pictures are not awesome, admittedly. I'm not claiming my profile is even good, especially based on the 10 views it has in like 7 years....but 20 pictures of the same close up over and over or the lack of ability to at least realize what's in the background, or just some ambiguous picture that I can't tell if it's even a person, those are the worst and are not sexy.

I agree with the point about never including face and nudity in the same picture. I don't share a lot of nude pictures anyway, but I also don't want non-Adult Dating zone people to stumble across naked pictures of me that they know are me.
