Of Mice and Women

Good evening everyone,
My, first meeting with one of the two girls I mentionned earlier: you can barely believe how jealous women can be. Basically, the sole mentionning of another girl in my Skype contacts was enough to stop the conversation on the spot. Little did she care that the contact was one of my employers and our relationship not even remotely romantic. Women. Beautiful but… jealous.

I noticed a few days ago this little detail. It seems that from the point of view of Affinity, I'm the (stereo)typical Servant Knight of ladies. I end up with girls who just want a man not only to love them, but to be awkwardly faithful to them. In other words: untrusty women. Yet the profile Affinity gave me seems correct! Am I doomed to meet women who can't love me without checking my emails, scanning my wardrobe, secluding me from female company? I'm no Rapunzel, you know!

In any case, awkward. The other girl simply logged off without even talking to me. Awkward++. Sometimes I just don't get it. What's the point in asking someone to meet you if in the end you just stand them up?

Eventually, I can't help but think I'm just not ʽcut out’ for sentimental relationships. I spent so much time in my job, meeting agencies once in a while with almost no personal information told, I got rusty. Like an old gramophone. What does normal people say when they meet? Just a clue: it's not ʽI wanna fuck you’ (thanks Gainsbourg). But then, what? ʽWhat do you listen to?’ It's written in the file, I can know that without asking.

You know what is most funny in all this? I was planning to finally speak about the 2DS today. This short encounter was enough to make me wonder about what I'm looking for in a woman. Because I know I'm not ready for long-term love, babies and such. Too bad for the Affinity girls who seem to honestly believe in Charming Princes.
