a Tapestry of Stars (warning: poetry for spirits of a higher consciousness)

a Tapestry of Stars
These lights shine
a tapestry of stars
the outdoors allows such extravagance
Nature does not stint on wattage
when galaxies move and whirl
and your hair toss swirl
reveal a neck i would kiss
from today till eternity
take the minutes of every day
to unwrap the enigma within
choose to use every second
every breath in loving
drag you from edge of Earth
allow gravity to take us down
and upon ground we explore
more natural laws and rules
the physics of living
the metaphysics of life
of the carnality of ourselves
when fused with another
ignites the spirit bright
in kisses and embrace sight
a greater truth than ourselves
not components only to provide
pleasure to another thoughtlessly
almost joylessly in aim and actions
how empty such spirit in a world wondrous
when to engage respectfully
in thought and deed
to elicit joy in action and reaction
enables one to be more
to part of a greater universe
where pleasure and ecstasy diverse
lifts the mortals that we are
to bright heights of the highest star.
