"Memory Maker".

If 35 years ago someone would had asked me, what would I be when I grow up. I might had told them and engineer, artist, scientist, or even a teacher. I would had have to decide , whether I would enjoy doing it, or am I in it for the money? "money might not bring happiness, but It can make you happy"! But 35 years later, I realized it might not happen. I went to school and only when so far, I never when the distances.

I got content and got to a point of not trying. I'm now 50+. I'm at a company, that if I hang in there, I'll get a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. I guess you can't teach an old dogs new tricks, not calling myself an old dog.I'm content on where I'm at. I have a home, car, income and money to get extra cheese on my whopper, when I want to. I can travel, once in a while. Never going to be a rocket scientist or create a cure for cancer.

But what if I applied myself, what could I had been? Recently I was around good people. Good people make you want to do good things. It's a good feeling doing something good for someone, and they cherish that thing in their lives. My always love Mariah Carey. So, on her birthday, i got her and my in law tickets to see them in Vegas. My got to see her close up and shook her hand, she still talk about this trip.

My brother is a big Dallas Cowboys fan. He never seen a playoff game and always wanted to go to one. I had some extra money. I could had easily payed a bill, but I decided to get him tickets for a January 14th game in Dallas. The say playoffs games are 10X better, that regular season games. I want to give him a gift he would remember a lifetime!

Would I ever be rich? No, Would I ever got back to college and finish my college degree , or write a hit song? Probably not!. So if I ever cross path with my friend from 35 years ago, and he ask me the same question. "what would I be when I grow up". I'll tell him. As long as I can, and If god permits! I would be a "Memory Maker"!

Riddletime** What word starts with "F" and ends with U-C-K?

ans: Firetruck.

I knew what I wanted to be from the age of 14....sadly family circumstances and my Mothers illness put paid to that....later I found a job which I loved doing until I retired.

At 35 I really didn't know what I wanted in life. From what I am reading you gave a lot through out your life. You should be very proud of your accomplishments. You can have the money in the word and still not be happy! hugssss V
