A Moment of Wonder

WONDER.

There is an activity that humans participate in which is the moment of wonder. You sit there and attempt to make sense of some little (or large) tidbit of info and try... try to make sense of it.

"It" can be all sorts of things that may or may not make any difference to any particular thing. I wonder if I should share particular things at this moment. But I won't. You (my readers) don't really want to know. Go on -- search your soul -- you couldn't care less.

But there is this thing called WONDER which is WAY beyond these things that you and I ponder (which is kinda like "wonder" but with a "p" instead of a "w"). If you happen to be playing Scrabble... "wonder" gets more points.

Have you seen a breathtaking sunset? Have you heard a piece of music that melts you from the inside? Have you touched the skin, or maybe fur, of a loved one? How about the best meal you have ever eaten? What is the best scent you have ever smelled?

THIS is where WONDER exists. The noun, not the verb.

Context? How about this: I purchased the first piece of art that I have ever owned. I can't stop staring at it. While it causes me to wonder, it is a wonder.

Words. Regardless of language... they don't serve the purpose of description. They're like substitutes for a real thing.
