HOMO or HETERO?


OKAY...I know that everybody knows that every state has had or will have a day in court with those "same sex" couples that want to get married.
First, lets look at the Bible thumper's view. God says that a COUPLE is a union between a MAN and a WOMAN. Next, look at the Constitution. We are all given the freedom of CHOICE. Finally, the Majority Public view. These people are used to the way things have always been and refuse change in any way.

NOW, with all that said, let me say that the Bible DOES have a place in this country. The USA was formed and grew on Christian values and beliefs. Hell, it was because of the "rules" of the church that the country was ever settled to start with.
On to the Constitution. We are given certain rights and freedoms simply by being an AMERICAN CITIZEN. We do NOT have the personal right to determine what "freedom" others get to exercise...that is for law makers to do...and we vote them in or out. Lastly, It is MY PERSONAL belief that<b> homosexuality </font></b>is a CHOICE not a DISEASE. So, those of you looking to "come out" under the pretense of it being an illness..BULLSHIT! It is YOUR CHOICE whether to be or not to be ANY DAMN THING YOU WANT. Bottom line is simple, be who you are and say what you think; because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
BTW...no, I'm not homosexual, but I still have an opinion.

1st Amendment:
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances"

14th Amendment:
Section 1. "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."

Many make the argument that many states have laws prohibiting same sex marriage because it was voted on by a majority of citizens. That argument doesn't hold water. I'm sure if voted on in many states during the mid 1800's slavery would have been approved of too.

Let me be MORE clear. I remain neutral on the subject. It is not my concern NOR should it be, about which orientation someone wishes to be. OK...I still believe is a choice. I say that because ALL of my friends that ARE Gay and Lesbian, have left marriages after YEARS and 2 to 4 kids.
