TEACHER KNOWS BEST, PART I ( Fiction) I arrived earlier than usual at my office at the college where I'm a tenured professor<b> teaching </font></b>English (actually, it's an Advanced Writing course and we've been focusing on Short Story Fiction all semester). I thought I'd start reviewing assignment papers my students had handed in. College Seniors! So much more interesting than all those years I taught high school. In any case, it was more challenging and stimulating for me than trying to teach adolescent boys and girls. I laughed and shook my head as I unlocked my office door. I was about to go inside when I saw the envelope on the floor that someone had shoved under the door.
