Why is it that men (mainly) or people in general can't seem to adhere to a persons requests or tastes here on Adult Dating zone?

I guess it's because of the mindset that we have that "I can change their mind" mentality. I mean, if a woman says she's not into men at the time or period, why keep sending her messages/IM's trying to hookup?

That's what gets you blocked or cursed out. Then again, like i've said before this IS a SEX SITE, so to each their own. But still, respect a persons profile/requests.

 True but many a times the profile is old and the requests are not 100% inviolable set in stone kind of things. Human communication has not evolved to the realm of 100% certainty. Add to that cultural diversity. I can see it happening but understand the frustration of being on the receiving side .

Suggest you experiment with different ways, terms used in your communication to ensure that your earnest is quickly understood by the opposite party.

Date it was posted means nothing, unless you actually read the last time the person visited the site. Then again, some men bypass the profiles that specifically say "Will update when requesting men".

 there is also the fact that the standard members can't read your profile. They can still see if you are looking for men, women, couples or everyone though so thats not an excuse on that front.

 Open doors do get darkened. When you stipulate, you suggest that there may be an impending change. Most people feel that if they are at the plate anyway, they may as well take a swing.
