Is AFF successful for older (say over 40) single heterosexual men? As an older single (widower) heterosexual male, I really wonder if Adult Dating zone is that useful for me. I'm kind of leaning on the side of it not being that useful in terms of hook-ups or even just social friends. I believe that Adult Dating zone is very useful for couples (man and woman) to hook-up in swinging (lifestyle) situations. Single females are highly desired to the point where I think many join just because of the attention, but aren't that serious when it comes to meeting anyone (for sex or otherwise). Gays/Lesbians probably have more luck than older single hetero males. Young (under 30) males have better luck. Well-hung and fairly muscular young males do pretty well in Adult Dating zone (still not as good as couples and females). What could improve Adult Dating zone in this respect? Well, one thing is the ability of members (perhaps just Gold or better) to rate members. Yes, some picky people will get bad ratings from the first few interactions. Perhaps to limit this skew, only report on rating reports after a certain threshold has been met--say 20 or 25. If 25 people have interacted with someone and given them a rating (maybe 1 (not worth it/game player/fake) through 5 (the real deal)), then others will know who to avoid and not waste their time. If a person gets some low ratings (the person should always be able to see their ratings even if just a few), they may realize that *they* need to start reaching out and being more social--responding to messages (if they can) and chats. The goal of something like this is to allow people (like the older single hetero males) to know who is worth the effort and who is not worth the time to send a message or chat to. Right now, the main benefit I get from Adult Dating zone is the live cams, but sending long, well worded messages and chat messages is almost worthless. Don't know why other than most people feel that older males are "creepy" (I don't know if that is it?). I know everyone has their preferences; I rarely contact someone who explicitly says they only want someone in a certain age range that I don't fall in. I will say it is kind of sad since I've met many men who are younger than me who look a lot older than me, so please don't base age preferences just on age looks; there are exceptions. Anyway, it is not clear to me that Adult Dating zone is all that useful for older single hetero males and with Baby Boomers aging, Adult Dating zone is missing out on a huge market. |

Hmmm. The way it was explained to me was, No bitter pedophile old creepers riddled with E D that are only here hunting down a nurse maid. When all they had to say was no Quasideadgeriatriczombies.! Enjoy the extra years staying away from people like that will provide you! Using more than all the road!

Some of what concerns you I just wrote about in my blog. I've been on and off Adult Dating zone since my early 60's and in the beginning had some great meet ups all with women about my age.
