 I don't even get the option to use points to view a profile...it's straight to the 'renew' page.
Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

I generally use the ran thing after reading a profile. And it is sometimes sketchy too.

You can use points, 300 IIRC, to email but that is a lot compared to the fan way.

 The only glitches I encounter are when posting to my blog. Missing words and delays in posting are amongst the most annoying. Others have submitted change records so I look for “work arounds”.

 Haven't needed to view a profile recently, but whenever I've spent points to view a profile in the past, I've not had any problems.

No doubt this is a more recent "feature".

 Yes,, another glitch i think... I've done it with people who have viewed me and sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't .. I find if you search their name in the user name search box it shows their profile.
I only ever pay for one view at a time... because it doesn't always work and surprise! you lose the points.
I also have to log in twice
