Seems incredibly hypocritical to advocate nudity as more “natural”, yet to view an erect penis as taboo. Some nude (clothing optional) beaches used to be privately operated. At least one had camping facilities. There was a lot of hot sex in the camping and RV areas. Such an interesting topic... and obviously so subjective. Of course, perhaps modesty should prevail in some scenarios such as a public beach/area that would be predominantly non- nude but if the area is clearly designated as nude then perhaps it can come down to just how much you want to put on display! I personally have been in ‘clothes optional’ locations and have ‘discretely’ maintained a full erection without any strange looks or obvious ‘distaste’ from those within my immediate vicinity ( I also had a thick plug deep inside me  ).... and like yourself I quite enjoy seeing someone nicely aroused!
