Weights. A Poem
Weights. A Poem You don't know The weight of my world And conversely I don't know The weight of yours So both of us Could use some Weightlifting exercises With a spotter present Just in case You know Safety first. Weights on paper Hold them in place So they don't fly away Weights work magic For bouys at sea. As they perform An important duty. Of marking space. Weights work miracles For hot air balloons And in truck beds Providing leverage. But by themselves And all alone Weights are lonely As they rarely get around Unless someone Is willing to lift them Finally one area Is now free. And exposed To the elements Let's hope It doesn't encounter Inclement weather Until it can find New protection. Independently Romantic Sounds Better Than Lonely |
