When TV first hit the market many said they liked radio better . I used to listen to Mystery theater on the late shift at work the sound effects were amazing . My point is sometimes you don't need pictures and sometimes it adds to the effect . and sometimes you can't move some folks even with a whip and a stick of tnt .

Interesting question! I'm a huge fan of your blog because you do use your own photos to enhance the experience. I see nothing wrong with photoless blog entries or ones that utilize found film. I like both at the same time. My mind gets very stimulated with an erotic image or two. I like it even better when her thoughts are put into words that are related to the image posted. I like to post real images of myself (all if my pics are real and of me) but limit the writing as I have found few seem to want to read a long narrative.

I pretty much don't look at blogs or profiles that do not have an image. I really like to attach an image when I respond to someone on Adult Dating zone. I haven't figured out how to attach an image with this comment. Perhaps your could teach me. I don't see any method to attach an image. I love taking images and to share them.

Hi Joy, So I've been on this site for several years and have followed many many blogs. Some I found visually appealing because of the sexy photos and others I found equally arousing just from the exquisite use of words. I think RavenGB said it best in one of the comments to this blog, "If something is truly erotic, you don't need pictures for the prose to have the desired effect". For me, there are VERY few bloggers here that have that gift. Where they can paint such a vivid, erotic, heart pumping picture just with their expert use of written word. Honestly, in those cases, the picture they created in my mind is prob more arousing to me than any photo they could attach to the piece. That being said, I certainly don't mind the inclusion of an erotic photo that compliments the piece. I'm just not a fan of a gratuitous ass or tits pic if it doesn't add anything to the story that was just told. To me, that seems less creative and more for attention or maybe even to distract from the shortcomings of the writing. So to answer your question, yes, I can thoroughly enjoy a well written erotic post whether it has a photo or not. The question for me is whether the writer intended to spot light the piece with the inclusion of an erotic photo or was the purpose to just add some words to bolster a photo they wanted to share? As an aside, with all due respect, I found your comment to Raven GB very narrow-minded when you mentioned that you believe those that write erotica without including photos of themselves have low self esteem. Where that may be true for some, painting all writers with such a broad stroke is silly to me. People come to this site for various reasons, and many have limitations with what they can share. Whether it be for family or professional reasons, many people don't have the freedom you have to post whatever they want on their blogs.
