A sad state

I really cant believe the sad state the world is in right now when it comes to people meeting. Ive been in contact with a few young ladies and we have mutual interest in hooking up. But here's the problem. In order to do so Im expected to verify who I am for their safety. I get it that they want to protect themselves but why should I have to spend money to prove who I am? Why can't they agree to meet me in a public place such as a coffee shop of their choosing? It protects them in that there are other people around and the meeting could be passed off as a coffee date if someone either of us know sees.Ive even gone as far as offering to provide a pic of my ID beforehand. I'm not a bad guy really. Just someone that now has to deal with the havok and mistrust out there because of the<b> assholes </font></b>that have hurt these women in the past.
