The Long and Winding Road

Here' we are in 2017.
I'm so missing the 80's thru the 90's club scene days. In the NYC, Baltimore and D.C. area.

So many great NYC clubs Dancetera, Limelight, Harrahs, Peppermint Lounge, Max's Kansas City, Great Gildersleeve, CBGB's, Private's, Trax, and an awesome after hours Club called the Nursery.

In DC I so miss the Bayou in Georgetown, and the 9:30 club off of F street.
In Baltimore there was Hammerjacks and the Rage such great Rock Clubs.

In the early 80's I got so caught up in the Punk / New Wave scene.

Those days are so long gone.
We grow up and move on.

Still loving my R 'n R

I've still got a Gibson J-40 that I bought new in 1970. . I also have a Taylor Mini Mahogany that I bought last year.

I used to be into electric guitars back when I was a teenager. . I had some real classics back then.
The best was a Fender Coronado II Wildwood. . Check out the Wildwood models. . They injected the trees when young with something and let them grow. . Later when they cut them down, the wood itself was crazy colors. . Mine was SO beautiful to look at.

Punk rock? . I once saw the Ramones play in a SMALL indoor concert back in the late 70's. . That was the loudest "anything" I've ever heard!

Definitely going to look into those guitars. Growing up in my early teen years my friend had a Fender Mustang in red. Amps I was using Ampeg. Wish I still had those tube amps.
