What's up for Canada Day \ 4th of July???

I saw a poll on TV the other day that stated 50% of respondents prefer to do something low-key to celebrate, versus heading out to one of the city's various celebrations. I can generally agree with that, I'm not a big crowd fan at the best of times. It's nice to see some of the attractions for the weekend as well though, so it can be a balancing act.

How about you? Do you look for the biggest possible crowd for maximize socializing, or find something a little more cozy to do to celebrate the day?

 I'm not a fan of crowds at the best of times, so I prefer something a little more low key.
